Welcome to your new Drupal website!
Congratulations, Drupal is installed for this site. The first screen you get is the Drupal-Welcome screen, that will be your home-page as long as there is no content. You notice your sitename, with the link to the homepage, a navigation-menu on the left and the main page.
The link to the home-page
Next to the drop, on the top-left, you see the name of your site. Clicking on that link brings you back to the Homepage
The Navigation-menu
In the column to the left you find the Navigation-menu with your name. Under your name:
- My account: Brings you to the user-menu. Here you can see and edit your information
- Create content: For the moment you only can create a page or a story. After you created content, this welcome-screen will dissapear.
- Administer: Brings you to the Administration-menu, which is the main configuration-menu.
- Log out: When you log out, a log-in screen appears.
The main screen
The main screen shows you a way to configure and expand your site. You find the same order in the reference.
