About me

I am a European, born in Brugge (Bruges), Belgium, and I divide my time between programming computers, making websites and travelling through Europe as a tourdirector, working for Trafalgar Tours.
I have found computers interesting since the early 80's, when I bought my first homecomputer, a TI 16K. After running out of memory in about a month (16k is not that much
), I continued with the commodore 64. And I kept on following the incredible evolution of PC's until today. Anyway, you can read a bit of the story here.
Drupal sparked my interest only quite recently, when I found out that The White House used a Belgian system to build up their website. Having a look at it, I was blown of my feet because of the incredible power of the system. And fell in love with it immediately.
When I started to work with Drupal, I found all the necessary explanation, but in a very scattered way. It took me a while to find out what Drupal is, how it works, where to find a starter guide, how to install it, etc. This website tries to give you an overview, and a collection of resources where to find more help. It is written with the drupal-user in mind.
The amount of pages are growing alongside my quest in understanding and using Drupal. So, in a way, this is a documentation of my knowledge about the system.
I hope you can do something with it.
The Drupaltist, Filip Mattheeuws
